Sunday Music Lessons Are Here!
We’re thrilled to announce that our Academy is now open for lessons on Sundays!
With demand for lessons higher than ever, Sundays are the final day we’re adding to our weekly schedule to make room for more students 7 days a week. Whether you’re brand new to our school, a returning student ready to pick up where you left off, or a current family looking for a more convenient time, this is the perfect chance to secure a spot that works for you.
All instruments and age groups are welcome on Sundays, giving families flexibility and options to fit their busy schedules. Openings at the Academy are becoming more limited, and with nearly all other days at full capacity, these Sunday lessons will fill quickly.
Don’t wait - call us today for lesson availability between 10:30am and 4:30pm, you’ll have more choices than ever to find the time that works best for you.

🎊Congratulations to Hope Garan!🎊

This month, we’re excited to highlight Hope, a talented musician who’s been taking lessons with us for over a year and a half! She plays both piano and flute, and some of the coolest things she’s learned so far include mastering 8th notes, using the piano pedal, and playing fun songs like “Hey Jude” and “Stuff We Did.” 🎹🎵
Hope draws inspiration from artists like The Beatles, Fall Out Boy, and Sombr, and outside of music, she keeps busy with art, tennis, swimming, and boogie boarding. 🖌️🎾🌊
When it comes to sweets, Hope has a sweet spot for See’s Scotchmallow Chocolates, Dum Dums, and of course, peanut butter cups. 🍬🍫
Keep up the amazing work, Hope—we love seeing your passion for both music and creativity shine through!
Musical Ladder
System®
Achievements
The Santee Music Academy and The San Diego School of Music are the only music schools in the San Diego that give their students the opportunity to earn special colored wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests with the Musical ladder System®. which has been awarded multiple patients and is being used by schools nationwide.
Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with the smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool "Musical Ladder System®" wristbands that they can show off to their friends.
