Rockin' into Summer!
We’re still buzzing from our end-of-semester Rock Band concert back on Sunday, June 1st—what an incredible way to end the semester! The turnout was bigger than expected, and it was truly inspiring to witness the amazing support our student musicians received.
Each band brought their A-game and showcased just how much growth, dedication, and musicianship they’ve developed over the past few months. We couldn’t be prouder of all the hard work and talent that went into this semester.
As we head into summer break, Rock Band will be taking a short pause—but we’re already looking forward to kicking things off again in the fall! The next session is planned to begin in September, and we’ll be sharing more details and sign-up information in August.

Meet Jesse, our incredible piano student who’s been playing for over four years!
Known for his dedication and musical growth, Jesse says the coolest thing he’s learned so far is playing fast with grace notes—a skill that takes both finesse and focus.
When he’s not channeling his inner Beethoven (his favorite musician!), Jesse is out on the baseball field or enjoying his favorite treat: a classic Snickers bar.
We’re so proud of Jesse’s progress and can’t wait to see him shine at his upcoming performance at our Summer Showcase in August. Way to go, Jesse!
Musical Ladder
System®
Achievements
The Santee Music Academy and The San Diego School of Music are the only music schools in the San Diego that give their students the opportunity to earn special colored wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests with the Musical ladder System®. which has been awarded multiple patients and is being used by schools nationwide.
Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with the smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool "Musical Ladder System®" wristbands that they can show off to their friends.
