Overview

Whether you aspire to play Bach or Alicia Keys, San Diego School of Music's dedicated music instructors will help you become the musician you want to be. Our faculty will introduce you to four of the most common instruments which allows you to learn a bit about each one and find the best fit for you to get started on.

 

Lessons are held Mon-Fri in the afternoon and evenings as well as Saturday mornings and afternoons. Contact us for our current class schedule.

What will I learn from Intro To Music classes at the Academy?


Each student has the chance to play on four instruments; keyboard, violin, drums & guitar and is the perfect option for students getting started with music lessons. 

 

Do I need an instrument?


No, you do not need an instrument at home to take lessons. We provide all instruments in class for students to explore on.

Our faculty have received their musical education from such prestigious institutions as well as performance and pedagogy programs. Many have toured the US and Europe, and bring over 25 years of professional performance and teaching experience to your lessons.

A one-time registration fee is $40

Sign up is easy and parent-friendly, with helpful staff available seven days a week to serve you. Because we only offer lessons on a month-to-month basis, there are no large upfront payments, no complicated contracts, no annual material or performance fees, and no semester minimums.
